Confessions On The MelOn Music Awards 2012

Following MAMA, another awards ceremony has just taken place, namely, the MelOn Music Awards.

Firstly, I'm just gonna go ahead and say how much I liked MelOn compared to MAMA.

Even though it's not as big a deal, I thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

Now, I must admit, I missed almost half of the red carpet but I gathered enough from what I saw.

Which, admittedly wasn't a lot... since I couldn't understand what the MC's were saying anyway.

I was pretty startled during the awkward complete silence every time the idols were being photographed though...

The MCs of the night were INFINITE'S Woohyun, B2ST's Gikwang, Moon Hee Jun and Danny Ahn. 

First off, I think they did a spectacular job running the whole event (even though I don't understand most of what they said)...

WOW. Ok, first of all, AMAZING. SO GOOD. Seriously enjoyed it, much much better than MAMA.

INFINITE, SISTAR and B2ST left my jaw hanging. My three favourite performances of the night.

Honestly, I thought all the stages were amazing and well thought out and interesting.

Except... T-Ara's... I'm not sure what their concept was or if the song choice was bad? But I was really bored and uninterested in their performance and actually swapped tabs to Tumblr to see what was going on there. Actually, the other idols looked pretty bored too.

I loved SISTAR's little video skit at the start. Creative, relevant and oh, so sexy! (unfortunately the skit is not shown the the video above).
And 2NE1!!! Omfg. I actually like near cried during their red carpet. I haven't seen them in sooooo long and damnnn Bom. So hot, you make me tear ;___;

Ailee and Huh Gak's collaboration was beautiful as well.

I hated the guts out of this song at first, stealing all of Infinite's wins >:(

But then I sorta grew to love it.

Favourite song of the album is Oh My God. especially the special dance stages with Hyoyeon and Sooyoung.

It's a horrible concept though...

JB, let me marry youu!

Ok all honest truth I never got round to finishing Dream High 2 because almost everyone on earth told me it was really bad.

But the song is seriously good.

Has the Bang&Zelo Never Give Up vibes in regards to music and MV though.

Usually I get angry when Yonghwa is paired with other people but I like Juniel.

She sounds like IU and is really talented.

Really great debut album; I wonder if she will ever dance in the future lol

Like This is not everyone's cup of tea but it's stupidly addictive.

Everyone is so incredibly tank, they look photoshopped.

I wanted them to perform live shirtless but my wish didn't come true.

Had a heart attack when I watched the MV for That Man Opposed and realised they were the same group.

Youngwon needs a haircut. For a moment I thought Dalmatian had 4 guys and 1 girl.

Simon has entered my bias list. Welcome and hope to marry you one day :)

So A-pink recently released their second mini album titled Snow Pink. I really don't need a whole post to decide which I song I like: I Don't Know wins HANDS DOWN!

MV wise, song wise and choreography wise, I Don't Know owns everything A-pink has ever done.

I have a love/hate relationship with A-pink: I have a guilty love for their song I Don't Know (Kikwang!), but I don't like their cutesy, innocent image. I also don't like the fact that they live in the same appartment block as Infinite and are always paired with their seven members!

They are, nevertheless, part of Cube. I am totally pro Cube Yo! :D

I mean seriously, Kikwang wakes up in your garden and you just LEAVE HIM? Who on earth would do such a thing...
